The user selects the desired object store and class, and can optionally choose the software-generated example spreadsheet template that displays the unique fields for the selected categories. After completing the spreadsheet and adding any necessary metadata for effective metadata management, the user selects the option for import. The preflight validation process will identify any metadata conflicts before allowing the bulk document import. Upon successful validation, the software will import documents and record the node ID from OpenText Content Server, which can be saved upon job completion. Users may also choose to version documents as needed. The system allows for multi-value imports using a pipe '|' delimiter, such as A|B|C. Additionally, users have the flexibility to pause a job at any time, resuming at the first non-null ID for the document to import. In the event of server errors, the software will track the error, allowing the user to either stop to resolve the issue or continue with the successful documents. The auto-complete feature for full file path selection means the user only needs to provide the file name, and the software will automatically populate the complete path name for the user.
